Kiwireco plastic waratah stakes are made using recycled plastic. This allows us to make products free of any toxic chemicals that could leach into the soil. It makes Kiwireco stakes ideal for vegetable gardens, orchards and any outdoor environment. Coloured pigments are added to shield the plastic from UV damage making them extremely durable.

2. RECYCLED PLASTIC TREE AND GARDEN TIES
Kiwireco plastic ties are made using recycled plastic. Soft, strong and durable they are ideal for supporting a wide range of plants. 5mm ties are used extensively for horticultural applications like espaliering in apple and cherry orchards. 20mm and 40mm ties will support securely medium to large size trees even in the windiest conditions. 2mm and 4mm ties are ideal for use in vege gardens and to support various ornamentals.

3. RECYCLED PLASTIC TREE TRUNK PROTECTOR $4.58 incl. GST
Kiwireco plastic tree trunk protector is made from 100% recycled polyethylene. It is designed to protect young trees from animal grazing and mechanical damage caused by lawnmowers and weed-eaters. Ideal to use on young trees with clear trunk (for bushy plants we recommend using Kiwireco open top cloche to get them started).
Covers trunks from 40mm to 100mm in diameter. The protector should be removed once the tree trunk grows wider than 100mm to avoid damaging the bark.

4. KIWIRECO OPEN TOP CLOCHE $6.99 incl. GST
Kiwireco open top cloche is great to get your seedlings started and acclimate to their outdoor beds in spring when the weather is still unsettled. It also offers chemical free protection for your plants as well as protection from:

INSTALLATION is easy in 3 steps:
STEP 1:
Insert the two ends of one metal wire into the soil 200mm deep on either side of the plant with the groove facing down.
STEP 2:
Insert the second wire 200mm deep locking the groove over the first wire and building a square frame.
STEP 3:
Slide the cloche over the wire frame
The cloche is made from UV stabilized recycled plastic. It will last outdoors for many years supporting your plants season after season. It can be easily removed and reused on other plants.
